A door closer does quiet, essential work — pulling a door shut every time so it latches, seals, and stays secure. When a closer fails, you get doors that slam, drift open, leak conditioned air, or won't close far enough to lock. We repair and replace surface-mounted, concealed overhead, and floor-spring closers, and we tune the sweep and latch speeds so the door closes firmly without becoming a hazard.

Proper closer adjustment also keeps you ADA-compliant — opening force and closing time both fall under accessibility requirements, and we set them to spec. If your closer is leaking oil, has lost its back-check, or simply wears out a door faster than it should, we'll get it swinging right again, often the same day.

Panic hardware and exit devices aren't optional in most commercial and assembly occupancies — they're required by fire and building code so people can get out fast in an emergency. We install, repair, and code-certify rim, mortise, surface vertical rod, and concealed vertical rod exit devices, plus the exterior trim, pulls, and electrified options that go with them. For fire-rated openings, we make sure your panic hardware is UL-listed and matched to the door's rating.

Heavy commercial doors live and die by their hinges. A steel or aluminum storefront door swung thousands of times a week will eventually sag, bind, or tear its hinge screws out of the frame — and once a door drops, nothing else on it works right. We replace worn butt hinges, install heavy-duty ball-bearing and continuous (geared) hinges, and reinforce frames and jambs that have loosened over time.

Continuous hinges are our go-to for abused, high-cycle openings: they spread the load along the entire door edge, eliminate the sag point, and dramatically extend the life of the whole assembly. If your door scrapes the threshold, won't stay open, or the gaps have gone crooked, the fix usually starts at the hinges — and we'll square the opening back up so your locks and closers work as designed.
